Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to company core software platform and enhancing features that automate leasing process, aiming to reduce average workload for customers and improve efficiency

• Engineer/develop new features for company software platform that increase value for customers

• Propose meaningful improvements to company software architecture and design patterns, including data models, database schemas, and system components and make decisions about technologies, frameworks, and design patterns to be used

• Drive and develop software engineering best practices by collaborating with and reviewing code written by colleagues and ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards

• Leverage modern tools and technologies such as automated testing frameworks, CircleCI for continuous integration, Databricks for large-scale data processing, and GitHub

• Develop, design and debug complex code through writing high-quality, reusable and maintainable code in programming languages such as Python and Java

• Create service-oriented APIs that support the generation of hundreds of thousands of data points daily as well as integrate and maintain third-party data sources

• Collaborate with data team to handle production data, with the aim of ensuring a 99.9% data integrity rate

• Acquire labeled datasets focused on conversation problems and create and maintain tagging applications for labeled data used in machine learning models

• Make enhancements to service infrastructure on Amazon Web Services for our machine learning projects with 99.5% uptime

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include:

• 5 years of experience developing large-scale consumer-facing applications using programming languages including Objective-C, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java or Python

• 5 years of experience designing and implementing scalable backend infrastructure and UI-oriented product features with high traffic of daily active users

• 5 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to design product behaviors and deliver 0-to-1 product launches using prototyping tools like Figma in a fast-paced environment

• 3 years of experience implementing modern coding patterns, frameworks, and languages to improve maintainability and scalability of existing codebase

• 3 years of experience conducting data analysis of features using Daiquery or Jupyter Notebook SQL notebook tools to inform future iterations and product improvements and detect product deterioration

• 3 years of experience applying software engineering best practices including code review, automated testing, and continuous integration systems

• 2 years of experience designing and developing comprehensive monitoring and logging systems to strengthen reliability and performance of critical infrastructure with either Unidash or Datadog

• 2 years of experience serving as a technical lead of projects, responsible for architecture decisions, mentoring junior engineers with career progression, and coordinating multi-engineer projects

Job Compensation Range

The salary range for this role is $213,512 – $260,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided by our Recruiting Team during the hiring process.
