Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

Position Overview

Vicky Chen State Farm Agency is seeking a licensed and motivated Insurance Sales Representative to support our general market sales efforts. This role focuses on handling inbound leads, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate insurance solutions , while also providing a high level of customer service.

This position is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys consultative selling , relationship building, and working with warm internet and referral leads in a structured agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound internet and online leads; follow up with prospective customers in a timely manner

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options

Present, quote, and close insurance policies in a professional and ethical manner

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up

Assist with basic service needs related to issued policies when necessary

Accurately document sales and customer interactions using agency systems

Required Qualifications

Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (required)

13 years of insurance sales or agency experience preferred

Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills

Comfortable working toward sales goals in a supportive, team-based environment

Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously

Work Schedule & Location

MondayThursday: Onsite at our Chino Hills, CA office

Friday: Remote workday

This is primarily an in-office position ; fully remote candidates will not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly base pay: $20$25/hour (based on license and experience)

Performance-based sales bonuses

This is not a commission-only role
