Database Project Specialist
JOB TITLE: Database Project Specialist
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple projects/programs as developer for PowerApps.
- Organize and lead the implementation of new processes for web app/database projects.
- QA/QC for web app/database projects (work with end-users as well as developers to find bugs/nonfunctional processes and fix/change them).
- Data scrubbing for web app/database projects (analyze data from our databases and correct/validate data via field verification and standardized naming).
- Drive project deliverables and task details with the use of reports, tracking charts/graphs and checklists.
- Video editing and media/flyer design using Adobe/Kofax software/products.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Collect and analyze data using Excel (pivot tables, graphs, charts…) to evaluate operational inefficiencies.
- Document business and functional requirements that can be clearly understood by the business unit and technical teams.
- Create Excel macros using VBA language and scripting in JavaScript (Excel Online).
- Create automated flows in Power Automate.
- Create documentation and procedures for developed and purchased software usage/installation.
- Create scheduled and ad-hoc reports as requested utilizing MS Office software.
- Support Protocol (housekeeping), VWR (consumables) and Toolbelt (handyman) programs.
- Other duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
· College graduate with BA/BS degree
· Four years of experience in project/program management
· Knowledge of Adobe/Kofax tools with emphasis in video editing and digital media
· Basic knowledge of MS Office/Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) with emphasis on data analytics
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
· Work independently, receives minimal guidance
· Capable of interfacing with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds
· Candidate must be detail orientated with strong organization and prioritization skills
· Ability to multi-task with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, a hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
- Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
