Administrative Support Tech

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Support Tech to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. This contract position requires a dedicated individual to provide essential support in administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities: - Provide technical assistance in areas such as student registration, attendance tracking, scheduling, and discipline record management. - Welcome and assist visitors, while maintaining positive public relations. - Manage inventory and maintain records for equipment, including keys, ensuring proper chain-of-custody. - Process documentation and certifications for co-curricular programs, events, and stipends, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Submit and oversee maintenance and repair requests for facilities and equipment. - Handle requisitions for supplies and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient procurement. - Prepare accurate reports, forms, applications, and correspondence while safeguarding confidential information. - Operate and maintain proficiency with various office equipment to support daily administrative tasks. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance or clerical roles. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. - Proficiency in data entry and management using proprietary systems. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Skilled in organizing files, scanning documents, and managing schedules. - Ability to handle shipping functions and arrange appointments efficiently. - Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information. - Familiarity with coordinating events and managing facility use requests is preferred.
