Job Summary

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Loan Servicing Representative in Aliso Viejo, CA. This role supports the full lifecycle of private money mortgage loan servicing, including note and trust deed administration, payoff processing, compliance reporting, borrower and investor communication, and foreclosure coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer mortgage loan servicing from funding through payoff, including note and trust deed administration, reconveyances, payoff demands, and verifications of mortgage.
- Process loan modifications, extensions, payment statements, delinquency notices, balloon payment notices, senior lien notices, and prepayment penalty calculations.
- Perform bank and trust account reconciliations and prepare quarterly and annual compliance reporting.
- Respond to inbound borrower and investor inquiries and initiate outbound communication as needed with accuracy, professionalism, and discretion.
- Coordinate with third-party foreclosure trustees and manage Notice of Default and foreclosure processes from initiation through completion.
- Follow up on lease affidavits and maintain tenant communication for rental properties tied to delinquent borrower accounts.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage the complete private money loan servicing lifecycle from funding through payoff.
- Prepare accurate payoff demands, reconveyances, reinstatement figures, notices, and compliance reporting.
- Coordinate NOD and foreclosure administration with trustees, title, escrow, and legal partners.
- Maintain accurate borrower, investor, bank, trust account, and loan servicing records.

- Minimum 5 years of experience servicing hard money or private money loans.
- Demonstrated experience with Notice of Default and foreclosure administration.
- Strong working knowledge of note and trust deed law, documentation, and loan servicing requirements.
- Established working relationships with escrow companies, title companies, foreclosure companies, and law firms.
- Proficiency with loan servicing software platforms, with the ability to learn TMO loan servicing software quickly.
- Strong ability to calculate payoff figures, reinstatement amounts, prepayment penalties, and related loan servicing data accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in financial calculations, notices, and documentation.
- Clear, concise, timely, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, sound judgment, and independent problem-solving ability.
- Unquestionable trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior hands-on experience using TMO loan servicing software.
- California private money, hard money, or trust deed lending experience.
- Experience communicating sensitive financial resolutions to borrowers, investors, and outside professional partners.
- Background managing delinquency trends, early intervention strategies, and investor timeline expectations.
