Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, and document progress; monitor for changes and adjust care as needed.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and report adverse events; collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams as appropriate.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Maintain OR readiness: ensure sterile technique, correct instrument counts, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to support patient safety and care continuity.

Requirements
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Operating Room (OR) nursing experience or demonstrated exposure; OR travel assignment preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with RN licensure
- Ability to work in a hospital OR setting and manage a fast-paced workflow
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/17/2026; flexibility to cover varied OR cases as needed
