Senior Civil Engineer I/II – Land Development

Salary Range: Â $95,000 â $120,000 USD

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer I/II  to join their Ontario office. This role supports a wide range of land development projects â from residential and commercial sites to public infrastructure â focusing on design, technical execution, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop engineering designs, calculations, and plans for grading, drainage, and utilities.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and agencies to ensure design compliance.
Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders during construction.
Provide quality assurance and oversee the work of junior staff.
Contribute to a collaborative, problem-solving team environment.
Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or related field.
5â7 years of civil design experience  in land development or site engineering.
EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong communication, technical, and mentoring skills.
