Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for performing financial modeling to evaluate contract changes and new reimbursement models. Your role involves analyzing managed care contracts to ensure financial optimization and compliance, producing high-impact reports and presentations for leadership, and providing strategic insight into key financial metrics and contract performance. You will support cross-functional teams with managed care analytics and forecasting, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and internal standards.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and deliver detailed financial presentations and reports tailored to leadership and stakeholders.
+ Prepare comprehensive project updates, including strategic insights and recommendations.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex analytical and operational challenges.
+ Standardize internal reporting tools and templates to improve reporting efficiency.
+ Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to drive process improvements.
+ Create and maintain Excel-based models to support data reporting and financial planning.
+ Translate complex data into actionable insights for program development and strategic initiatives.
+ Partner with leadership to identify informational needs and promote automated data access.
Essential Skills
+ Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD/Dx coding systems.
+ Financial modeling and forecasting.
+ Proficiency in Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
+ Experience in managed care financial analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree.
+ 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
+ Experience within managed care healthcare specifically.
Work Environment
This is a remote position, operating from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will be working in a contract-to-hire role, and it is essential to be local to LA. The role is within a multi-billion dollar hospital, offering an opportunity to engage in significant financial analysis and reporting tasks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
