Commercial Loan Processor
Job Summary
A direct hire Commercial Loan Processor opportunity is available in Santa Rosa, CA for an experienced banking professional with strong commercial lending, documentation, compliance, and loan closing skills. This role supports the full commercial loan processing cycle, including commercial loans, construction loans, standby letters of credit, and related collateral documentation. Key Responsibilities - Process commercial loans, construction loans, standby letters of credit, and related loan documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.- Work directly with loan officers, customers, title and escrow companies, attorneys, brokers, insurance companies, contractors, and other third parties to obtain required documentation.
- Compile, review, and organize financial, collateral, title, construction, and closing documentation for underwriting and loan approval.
- Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations, including RESPA, Regulation B, OFAC, HMDA, Adverse Action, and flood insurance requirements.
- Manage loan closing processes by confirming conditions, documentation, updates, endorsements, and final reports meet bank and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, communication, and customer service with internal teams and external business partners. Compensation and Benefits - Direct hire opportunity.

- Compensation: $26.61 to $37.25 per hour.
- Minimum of 10 CRA volunteer hours per year required. Volunteer hours are typically scheduled during business hours, are compensable, and mileage is reimbursed. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process commercial loan files from documentation collection through underwriting support and closing.- Coordinate with loan officers, customers, escrow, title, attorneys, brokers, insurers, contractors, and other third parties.
- Review financial, collateral, construction, title, flood, and closing documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Support compliant loan processing for commercial loans, construction loans, and standby letters of credit. - Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Commercial Loan Processor.
- Strong knowledge of required financial and collateral documentation for commercial loan underwriting.
- Understanding of applicable lending compliance regulations and banking requirements.
- Knowledge of loan closing processes, including flood insurance guidelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to use various software platforms and websites to complete loan processing tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication, customer service, and professional relationship management skills.
- Ability to attend required training to remain current with regulatory compliance and internal policies. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with commercial loans, construction loans, and standby letters of credit.
- Familiarity with bond financing documentation.
- Experience using BakerHill NextGen solution, CLOS.
- Experience using Fiserv DNA.
