POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Business Development Specialist is part of the Retail Sales Team and will be responsible for identifying incoming leads, building, and furthering the expansion of supported Loan Officers in existing markets.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Work as a liaison between the referral partners and Loan Officers to transition of leads.
• Work with Loan Officers and referral partners to improve communication, expectations, and resolve conflict when necessary.
• Work with the referral partners and Loan Officers to utilize CMG’s technology for the creation of loan application efficiency and condition efficiency.
• Track incoming leads, status of the leads, and establish communication expectations between supporting Loan Officers and referral partners.
• Ensure proper pre-screening on incoming leads.
• Provide referral partner updates on the status of the leads.
• Contact the referral partner when clients are unresponsive or unwilling to communicate with supporting Loan Officers.
• Host agent trainings and events to educate and keep a direct line of communication between referral partners and Loan Officers.
• Promote supporting Loan Officers and their staff on all listing opportunities to improve listing referral partner capture.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to network and build relationships
• Previous administrative support and customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Analytical problem solver and self-starter
• Strong technical knowledge in the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets
• Acute attention to detail and ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
• Ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced fluid environment with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
• High level of professionalism, and excellent time management and organizational ability
• Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines in a fast pace environment

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Standard office environment, equipment and tasks, including work at a computer terminal.This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day.Employee must be open to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.

Base Compensation Information – For residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City + other areas requiring disclosure:

CMG pays a competitive base which ranges from $15.50 - $25.00 per hour. Factors that affect base salary may include: overall mortgage experience, number of years worked in mortgage industry, types of roles performed, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
