Product manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development and launch of our new products, as well as maintaining and improving our existing product portfolio. Your main goal will be to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify product needs and opportunities
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps and define product requirements
- - Manage the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products
- - Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize features and resolve any technical issues
- - Develop and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and release notes
- - Monitor product performance and gather feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement
- - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy
- - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans
- - Conduct product training for internal teams and external stakeholders as needed
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- - Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in the technology or oil and gas industry
- - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products
- - Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies
- - Understanding of market and customer needs in the oil and gas industry
- - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- - Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and industry events
Location:
This position is based in California, USA. The candidate must be willing to work on a part-time basis, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the company.
