Solar Filed Construction Associate (Sonoma)
Title : Solar Field Construction Associate
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Duration: C2H
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on field support including builder communication, material coordination, and quality assurance.
- Act as a liaison between roofing partners, customers, homeowners, electricians, project teams, and local authorities.
- Support inspections, troubleshooting, and homeowner/app guidance.
- Track project progress, conduct site inspections, and review documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in solar, construction, or homebuilding.
- Understanding of new home construction processes preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Tech-savvy with mobile apps and systems.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate roofs.
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs and wear safety equipment (~15 lbs).
- Capable of standing, walking, balancing, and performing physical tasks regularly.
- Good vision, coordination, and verbal communication skills required.
