Data Analyst

Description:

Our largest social media platform client is seeking a mid-level Data Analyst for their global partner organization at works closely with the leading content creators and media entities in the world to build and grow innovative and meaningful content and community engagement experiences across a variety of product areas.

This role will be responsible for providing critical data analysis and business insights to inform organizational goals, drive strategic decision-making, and support business growth. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to develop dashboards, create data reporting solutions, and conduct in-depth analysis to drive business outcomes.

Location Requirements: Fully Remote (team sits in EST)

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop subject matter expertise in key partner ecosystem metrics across various internal apps.
• Communicate complex data findings and recommendations in a way that is easily understandable by stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to provide the team with self-service access to key insights, driving analyst efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Establish close working relationships with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including strategy, data engineering, and business development teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in data analytics, including use of SQL, defining metrics, delivering regular insights reports, building dashboards, and making recommendations.
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Presentation and communications experience with extracting insights from technical data sets to varied audiences.
• Experience in the media and/or music industry and understanding of associated metrics.
• Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Menlo Park, CA.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
