- Employee Type: Regular About The Opportunity As a Business Solution Architect at Driscoll's, you will be responsible for leveraging your deep expertise in business operations, business process quality control, and technology to serve as a link between business strategy and execution within the organization. The Business Solutions Architect analyzes the current state of the organization, designs its desired future state, and creates structured approaches to bridge the gap between the two – outlining the capabilities required, the phases and high-level requirements to make solution work. This includes people, process, policy and data components, and would require close collaboration with Global Information Services to ensure technology strategy and enablers deliver the desired business outcomes. Responsibilities Strategic Planning, Analysis & Leadership:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Driscoll's business strategies and processes.
- Analyze and understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Lead strategic enterprise architecture initiatives, aligning IT strategy with business goals.
- Develop and manage a clear and comprehensive business capability roadmap aligned with business priorities and harmonized with technology strategy and solutions.
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to facilitate technology investment decisions based on business value and architecture alignment.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure projects align with the business architecture and enterprise strategy.
- Play an active role in project execution, problem resolution, and the achievement of project goals and deadlines.
- Design and model business processes to create clear, coherent blueprints for technology systems that support the organization's objectives.
- Define the structure of business capabilities, processes, and information and technology assets.
- Anticipate future business needs and work on architectural adjustments, system redesigns, or the introduction of new technology to meet those needs.
- Act as a “product owner” for key business systems, defining product vision, roadmaps, and growth opportunities.
- Prioritize backlogs and features, and plan iterations or program increments, collaborating with agile development teams.
- Ensure business solutions adhere to enterprise architecture governance standards and policies.
- Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on architecture initiatives.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, presenting complex ideas simply and convincingly.
- Lead change initiatives related to business architecture, ensuring successful adoption and implementation of new systems and processes.
- Drive digital transformation efforts, encouraging innovation and the use of emerging technologies to enhance Driscoll's competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Business Solution Architect with a strong technical background in a complex business environment.
- Deep process development and documentation expertise
- Extensive experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of business operations, process improvement methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Oracle Cloud and ERP experience
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of influencing multi-disciplinary teams including program management, process-oriented teams, and Technology Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Technical proficiency with enterprise architecture tools, agile methodologies, and project management software.
- Experience designing and constructing business processes and their links to technology.
- Excellent communication skills & ability to facilitate complex content to multi-level audiences.
- Aptitude for driving standards and passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to think independently and effectively, meet tight deadlines by managing multiple tasks/deliverables at varying complexities.
- History of confidently leading through and managing uncertain, evolving situations.
