Buyer
- Manage purchase order creation and updates, ensuring accuracy in pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and delivery commitments.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding purchase order acknowledgements, shipment schedules, and delivery status.
- Track open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate procurement and supplier information within enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Support shortage management activities and escalate delivery concerns as needed.
- Assist with request for quotation (RFQ) activities and quote collection.
- Support supplier onboarding and documentation activities.
- Coordinate with Planning and Engineering teams to support prototype and production builds.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and supplier-related administrative concerns.
- Provide timely updates on material status and supplier commitments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or practical equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing or hardware environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- This a hybrid position based out of our Fremont office.
