As a Data Entry and Customer Service Rep, you will play a pivotal lead role in our operations, ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of our Permit Department.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Data Entry & Customer Service Representative to join our team in the security services industry. This role is vital in supporting day-to-day operations by ensuring accurate data entry and providing professional, timely support to clients and field personnel. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry:

  • Enter and update client, site, and personnel information in the company database and management system.

  • Accurately log incident reports, shift logs, access control data, and scheduling changes.

  • Verify and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, including security access and client information.

Customer Service:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for resident inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems.

  • Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative/data entry role.

  • Prior experience in the security industry or similar regulated field is a plus.

  • Strong typing skills with high attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Part-Time Shift

  • 3 days
    (Sunday 10am-6:30pm, Monday-Tuesday 6:30am-3pm). Possibility of more days available as needed.

Pay: $18.00-19.00/hour DOE

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on client needs.
