A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a Quality Specialist I , you’ll be an integral part of our Quality Management System (QMS), coordinating internal and external audits, tracking findings, and driving process improvements. You’ll support compliance across departments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help sustain and improve our certification programs. Your detail-oriented mindset and drive for excellence will ensure that we meet regulatory requirements and exceed quality expectations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Support Audit Execution: Coordinate and schedule audits, facilitate internal and external audit processes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed effectively.
  • Improve QMS Processes: Identify and support improvements to audit workflows, documentation, and internal training to enhance overall quality performance.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to align audit practices with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Track and Report Metrics: Monitor audit progress, prepare summary reports and metrics for management review, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and Deliver Training: Conduct company-wide training on audit procedures and quality standards while maintaining organized training records.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Assist in self-audit initiatives, gap analyses, and certification sustainment efforts to ensure compliance and readiness.
  • Act as Liaison: Represent the Quality team in engagements with external auditors and suppliers, requiring occasional travel (<20%).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Associate’s Degree or relevant quality/auditing certification preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5 or more years of cross-functional experience in coordination, scheduling, customer service, or administrative support—ideally within regulated or technical environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting audits, quality programs, or compliance initiatives, with a strong understanding of process documentation and gap analysis.
  • Proficiency with business systems and data tools for input, tracking, and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to generate polished reports and presentations.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills—able to work seamlessly across departments and with external auditors.
  • A meticulous, quality-first mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The starting rate for this position ranges from $31.25 - $38.50 per hour , depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, Innoflight offers a well-rounded compensation package that includes a Profit-Sharing Bonus and a Cash Performance Bonus to reward both individual and company performance. Additional benefits include:
