FIELD SURVEY PARTY CHIEF AND CHAINMAN
Office Location: Pleasanton and Gilroy, CA
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and must be a member in good standing with the Operating Engineers Local 3 Union. Survey Party Chiefs and Journeymen (to the extent of their experience) should be proficient with Trimble & Leica Robotic Total Stations, Trimble and Leica Global Positioning Systems, Trimble & Leica Data Collection equipment and software, Trimble and Leica digital level equipment, and Leica 3D Scanner equipment.The candidate must be able to read and understand construction documents, subdivision maps and cut sheets and be able to prepare comprehensive and complete field notes/sketches. A working knowledge of coordinate geometry and state plan coordinates is a plus.
