A South Bay healthcare organization is looking for a Controller to add to their team. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for partnership accounting, lender and debt covenant reporting, overseeing month-end close, purchase price accounting, step allocations, consolidations, and cash flow projections. What do you need for this Controller position?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 20 years of accounting experience with at least 10 years of management experience
• MUST have healthcare experience
• MUST have CPA
• MUST have multi-location experience

What will you do in this Controller position?
• Oversee all accounting, including financial consolidation across multiple locations, revenue close management, and accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Streamline and enhance financial reporting structures across multiple locations.
• Ensure completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain compliance with lease accounting regulations.
• Manage equity structures, distributions, and joint venture accounting.
• Oversee partner compensation calculations and capital account reconciliations.
• Lead financial integration for newly acquired or affiliated entities, including due diligence, onboarding of financial systems, purchase accounting, and M&A activities.
• Implement revenue recognition strategies for risk-based contracts, fee-for-service, and capitation revenue models.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
• Work closely with operations leadership to develop KPIs and financial benchmarks e.
• Provide financial insights to support business growth, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Maintain strong internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare financial regulations.
• Lead internal and external financial audits.
• Oversee debt covenant reporting and lender compliance requirements.
• Manage tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting obligations.
