Senior Product Manager, Operations Software
Zoox is getting ready for commercial service and we’re seeking dynamic Product Managers to lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers, in developing cutting-edge products. As a Product Manager at Zoox, you’re a visionary who transforms innovative ideas into fully realized products. You will work closely with top-tier engineers and designers to amplify the impact of each product. Your role will also involve spearheading the advancement of Zoox’s infrastructure by identifying, scaling, and implementing next-generation AI and ML systems. \n
In this role, you will:- Shape Product Vision: Identify major opportunities and craft product vision, strategies, and roadmaps that align with Zoox’s strategic objectives.
- Strategic Insight: Leverage understanding of Zoox’s market position to deliver industry-leading products that align with our mission.
- Dynamic Efficiency: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where processes are flexible, and innovative solutions are essential.
- Data Utilization: Utilize data, research, and market insights to guide product strategies and development plans.
- Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, initiation, and management of tools, features, services, and product scalability
- Innovative Solutions: Spearhead the creation and launch of novel tools, platforms, and products.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with top-tier engineers and designers to drive product development while fostering a positive team environment.
- Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with various teams to define product requirements, manage resources, and ensure key milestones are met.
- User-Centric Design: Integrate user research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance usability and productivity.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and analyze metrics to gauge product success and track performance indicators.
- Experience: 8+ years in product management or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of experience in:
- Product management or design.
- Working within a technical team to define and execute product vision and requirements.
- Delivering technical presentations.
- Analyzing large-scale data to inform decisions.
- Translating diverse requirements into actionable product solutions.
- Applying analytical tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective communication.
- Strategic Vision: Proven experience in setting and executing a product vision and strategy.
- Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated success managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from integrating customer feedback to executing product launches.
- Leadership: Experience in recruiting and managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an evolving environment where creativity and flexibility are key.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $172,000 - $248,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Zoox also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (e.g. sick leave, vacation, bereavement), unpaid time off, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, Amazon RSUs, health insurance, long-term care insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
