Job Title: Senior CRM Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Woodland Hills, CA)
Salary Range: $120K – $140K + Comprehensive Benefits
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior CRM Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions team. This role will focus on leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to deliver impactful, scalable solutions that optimize both user experience and business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments to define requirements, design customized solutions, and manage the development lifecycle.
We are looking for someone who is a strategic problem-solver with hands-on technical expertise . This is a hybrid position that blends business analysis responsibilities with technical configuration and administration to ensure solutions are both efficient and user-centered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions tailored to business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Write and manage detailed business and functional specifications to guide development and testing teams.
- Configure Dynamics 365 CRM components, including workflows, entities, forms, dashboards, and business rules.
- Utilize SQL and tools like Power BI for advanced data analysis and performance reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
- Support Agile project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, testing, and solution implementation.
- Lead workshops, provide project updates, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer across teams.
- Mentor junior analysts and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst , with 3+ years specifically focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM .
- Strong experience in configuring modules such as Sales , Marketing , or Customer Service within Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing performance in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) .
- Demonstrated expertise in gathering and documenting technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA , Confluence , or ServiceNow (SNOW) .
- Collaborative mindset with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred & Technical Expertise:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps (Canvas or Model-Driven Apps)
- Power BI for reporting and data visualization
- Power Automate for workflow automation
- Familiarity with Power Pages , Dataverse , Power Fx , and Azure Logic Apps .
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications (e.g., MB-210 , PL-200) are a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Git and tools like Visual Studio for reviewing source code and collaborating with developers.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
