We're seeking a detail-oriented Jr/Project Accountant to join a fast-paced and collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting experience who enjoys working with financial data, supporting operations, and partnering with business leaders to ensure financial accuracy and success.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial & Accounting Support

• Set up new properties and projects in the accounting system
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure accurate billing and financial tracking
• Maintain account records and support ongoing accounting operations
• Assist with month-end activities, reporting, and reconciliations

Billing & Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and on time
• Track billable expenses and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on collections
• Maintain accurate receivable records and cash flow projections

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze budgets, costs, and revenue to support profitability goals
• Track work in progress and monitor project financial performance
• Assist with revenue recognition and financial reporting requirements
• Support forecasting and cash management activities

Team Collaboration

• Partner with operations and management teams to provide financial guidance
• Support vendors, consultants, and invoice processing activities
• Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed
• Provide excellent internal customer service across departments

What We're Looking For

✔ 2+ years of accounting, project accounting, or property accounting experience

✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

✔ Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial reporting

✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

✔ Experience with ERP or accounting software systems

✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

✔ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
