Project Manager (Mechanical Construction)

This role is responsible for managing mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout , ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the company’s high standards of performance .

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of assigned mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance objectives.

• Oversee field operations, including labor productivity, coordination, and quality assurance.

• Manage all financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, cost control, billing, and cash flow.

• Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

• Administer change orders, maintain accurate project documentation, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

• Foster strong client relationships through consistent communication and proactive problem-solving.

• Supervise and mentor team members, promoting accountability, professional growth, and collaboration.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety programs.

• Perform other related duties as required to support successful project delivery.

• Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management , or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing mechanical construction projects, preferably within the commercial or industrial sectors.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Technical Proficiency

  • Skilled in Bluebeam Revu , Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting) , and QuoteSoft Estimating Software .

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint).
