Role Overview

Tensec is looking for a dynamic, high-impact product manager to lead our "Money in Transit" (MIT) platform . This product manager will drive strategy, execution, and growth across all payment use cases—FX, payouts, mass payments, multi-currency routing, and more. This is a foundational role and a chance to build the core infrastructure for how money moves across borders for the next generation of global trade companies.

You'll be the product leader who transforms complex cross-border payment infrastructure into simple, powerful tools that non-technical users love. Think building the Stripe for global trade—but instead of developers, your users are logistics operators, CFOs, and FX brokers who need to move money globally without the complexity.

What You'll Do

• Own the End-to-End Payments Product : Drive roadmap, delivery, and evolution of all cross-border payment capabilities including FX, single and mass multi-currency payments, stablecoin integration, and traditional banking rails

• Design Workflow-Centric Products : Build intuitive experiences for non-technical users (logistics operators, CFOs, FX brokers) that abstract away payment complexity while maintaining full control and transparency

• Ship Fast, Reliable Global Infrastructure : Partner with our 8-person engineering team to deliver simple, fast, reliable payment experiences across countries and currencies

• Drive Operational Excellence : Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams to build automated onboarding, transaction approval, and reconciliation flows that scale globally

• Define Success Metrics : Establish and measure KPIs that drive transaction volume, client activation, payment success rates, and operational efficiency

• Lead Geographic Expansion : Drive country expansion from our current 3 markets (US, Mexico, Brazil) to 100+ countries in coordination with GTM and partnerships teams

• Iterate Based on Data : Use customer feedback, usage data, and market insights to constantly improve product-market fit and user experience

What You Bring

Core Experience

• 5+ years in payments/fintech with deep experience in cross-border money movement, FX, or banking technology

• 3+ years of product management building platform or enterprise SaaS products at scale

• Proven track record building APIs, payment products, and complex financial systems with multi-rail infrastructure

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Modern Payment Rails : Strong grasp of RTP, stablecoins and emerging payment technologies

• Compliance-Heavy Products : Experience navigating KYC, KYB, AML, sanctions screening, and international regulatory requirements

• Platform Architecture : Deep understanding of Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), embedded finance, and service-oriented architectures

• AI-First Products : Experience with AI-driven automation and no-code platform development

Product & Leadership Skills

• Exceptional Product Instincts : Can simplify complex financial workflows into clean, intuitive user experiences

• Customer Obsessed : Deeply understands non-technical users and can translate their needs into technical requirements

• Data-Driven Decision Making : Uses transaction data, success rates, and user behavior to optimize product performance and drive business outcomes

• Cross-Functional Leadership : Proven ability to influence and align engineering, compliance, operations, and business teams without formal authority

• Startup Velocity : High ownership mindset with ability to drive execution in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Communication & Global Mindset

• Clear Communicator : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives and technical teams

• International Perspective : Ability to work across multiple time zones and understand diverse market needs

• Language Skills : multi-cultural and multilingual PMs strongly preferred
