Chief Business Official

Perris Elementary School District (District) is seeking a Chief Business Official.

The District is located in western Riverside County and serves approximately 5,560 students across ten schools. The District provides a comprehensive educational journey that begins with specialized early childhood programs and extends through middle school. We offer foundational early learning at Rob Reiner Preschool (a state preschool supporting roughly 300 children ages 2-4) and Young Explorers Academy (transitional kindergarten), with preschool services also integrated into the Palms and Good Hope campuses. The District's core consists of several K–6 elementary schools, including Clearwater, Enchanted Hills, Perris, and Railway, alongside versatile K–8 options at Innovative Horizon Charter School and through TK–8 Dual Language Immersion programs at Sky View Academy and Good Hope.

The District has a General Fund budget of $100 million.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to the job requirements
• A combination of training, education, and experience that provides the knowledge and skills required for the position; relevant experience in areas such as accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields is desirable
• Five years of public-school business experience with a minimum of three years in a supervisory/management position
• Strong facilities background preferred
• Middle/elementary school district experience preferred
