Product Manager, Token Authentication Strategy & eCommerce Programs
The Token Authentication and eCommerce Programs team is at the forefront of Visa’s innovation responsible for building authentication solutions that reduce fraud and improve approval rates for e-commerce transactions.
The team is responsible for defining requirements for new products, new payment initiatives and related services, collaborating with cross functional teams including, but not limited to, Product, Technology, Commercialization, UX Design/Research, Legal, Marketing, Branding, and different Visa Regional teams to build great products at scale and drive adoption.
The team leads global tokenization and eCommerce initiatives, spanning strategy development, program design, and execution. This includes defining success metrics, sequencing market rollouts, aligning stakeholders across regions, and ensuring that authentication and enhanced data capabilities are integrated coherently across Visa’s broader eCommerce and identity portfolio.
Essential Functions:
The candidate will assist in ensuring the success of Token products and eCommerce initiatives within the organization. The candidate will work with designers, architects, engineers and marketing to further scale payment products. The candidate should be able to clearly articulate business requirements, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and take product features to execution.
The ideal candidate has a combination of product management/product strategy experience and familiarity with the payment industry in client-facing roles (e.g., payment processing, payment authentication, card tokenization, and an understanding of roles played by issuers and acquirers).
Product manager role:
- Define product roadmap and strategy for new products and features. Document business and technical requirements for consumption by internal stakeholders and technology teams.
- Own and execute one or more product features, feature sets or initiatives.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights and iterate product capabilities.
- Focus on user feedback, metrics and stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, UX design, legal and risk teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant product delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional internal teams including regional stakeholders to get buy-ins for new initiatives and establish feedback loop for building products/services that operate globally with regional nuances.
- Define success metrics and KPIs to measure program effectiveness, adoption, and business impact, informing strategic decisions and iteration.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Experience shaping or influencing product strategy and roadmaps in close partnership with Product, Technology, and Commercial teams.
- Strong executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to develop crisp, decision‑oriented materials for senior global and regional stakeholders.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively
- Develop product strategy, go-to-market plans, and product design documents (concept document, business case, product requirements)
- Lead collaboration with internal Visa teams to define and execute a cohesive strategy related to a specific product or feature
- Comfortable operating in emerging, fast‑evolving spaces, with the ability to balance strategic rigor and practical execution.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 146,200.00 to 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
