Product Manager, Scaled Abuse

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to scale the product efforts and overall technical strategy for the Account and IP Integrity team. The ideal candidate has prior experience solving complex forms of scaled abuse, building sophisticated protections across multiple parts of OpenAI’s product suite (ChatGPT, API, Sora). This role requires close collaboration with our product, safety, policy, user operations and engineering teams.
This position is based in San Francisco, CA. We utilize a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Lead work to detect and prevent account takeovers
Minimize fraud across OpenAI’s various monetization surfaces
Build capabilities for investigating and remediating API key leaks
Develop full stack systems to prevent violations of OpenAI’s usage policies
Use data to better understand user needs and guide future product development
Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including teams in product, finance, operations and engineering.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 5+ years of product management or related industry experience.
Obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
Have proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide the team through key milestones.
Have world-class communication and collaboration skills in working with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders
Showcase strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with proven communication abilities.

Compensation
$325K – $405K + Offers Equity
