Job Summary:
As a ProE Creo Design Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing the ProE Creo software to design and develop innovative and efficient product solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create detailed design specifications. From conceptualization to prototype development, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of product designs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Utilize ProE Creo software to create and maintain detailed product designs.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define design specifications.
3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify innovative and practical design solutions.
4. Develop 3D models, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications using ProE Creo.
5. Conduct design reviews to gather feedback and incorporate necessary modifications.
6. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure feasibility and optimize production processes.
7. Perform static and dynamic simulations to evaluate product performance and reliability.
8. Support the prototyping phase by reviewing and analyzing samples for design validation.
9. Collaborate with testing engineers to conduct product testing and provide recommendations for improvements.
10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design techniques and technologies.
11. Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations, assumptions, and design modifications.
12. Adhere to project deadlines and milestones, ensuring on-time delivery of design deliverables.
13. Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and clients to understand project objectives and expectations.
14. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiency.
15. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience with ProE Creo software for at least 3 years.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and understanding of manufacturing processes.
4. Proficient in creating 2D and 3D models utilizing ProE Creo software.
5. Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
6. Demonstrated expertise in conducting simulations and analysis using ProE Creo.
7. Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
8. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
10. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
11. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
12. Proficient in project management and adhering to strict deadlines.
13. Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
14. Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
15. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
