Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making
- Provide care on a general acute care unit with a medical/surgical mix
- Document patient status, monitor for changes, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to supervise and coordinate care for a group of patients and support staff
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills
- Experience or comfort working in a general acute care setting with medical/surgical patients
- Availability to work a 12-hour shift schedule and participate in travel assignment
