Foodhall - Boutique Café & Gourmet Market | San Francisco
About Foodhall
Foodhall is a boutique café and gourmet market in the Mission focused on elevated, health-forward food made with exceptional ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a community that values quality. We are a family-founded business and care deeply about ingredient quality, presentation, cleanliness, and creating food people genuinely feel good eating.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and confidently manage prep, production, and kitchen flow during their shift.
This is not a line cook “button-pusher” role. This position is best suited for a strong prep cook or line cook with experience in a high-quality, modern food environment.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a more creative, ingredient-focused kitchen environment with stable morning and daytime hours, and the opportunity to contribute to a growing prepared foods and catering program.
The Kitchen
Our kitchen is fully equipped with professional, high-end equipment, including a Rational combi oven, griddle, stove, and modern prep systems. We work with premium ingredients and produce a range of elevated grab-and-go meals, vibrant salads, grain bowls, sandwiches, prepared foods, café offerings, and catering items.

- Help maintain consistency in recipes, portions, labeling, packaging, and production methods
- Contribute ideas to improve workflow, efficiency, presentation, and product quality
- Assist with prep, packaging, and execution for catering and larger food orders
- Use tablets and digital tools for daily operational tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, dishwashing, and handling waste each shift
- Maintain a neat personal appearance and wear provided hairnets and aprons during food preparation
- Perform additional duties as needed to support Foodhall’s daily operations
