About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer on Auxia’s Customer Impact team, you will lead complex, cross-functional technical programs, collaborating with engineering, product, and solutions teams to drive seamless platform integration for Auxia’s enterprise clients. Your work will extend beyond technical implementation to influence product enhancements and new feature development based on partner feedback and evolving technical requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise software and AI-driven solutions, as well as experience managing technical projects with a significant data integration component.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end customer implementations and expansions, including system design, platform integration, solution customization, and deployment, while managing cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, and solutions teams.
- Translate client and business needs into clear technical requirements and development roadmaps, working closely with engineering to prioritize and implement features, ensuring alignment with partner objectives and scalability requirements.
- Manage technical dependencies and risks across multiple projects, proactively identifying potential issues and driving resolution to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration workflows, ensuring efficient, scalable data exchanges between Auxia's platform and partner systems, leveraging cloud data warehouses, APIs, and other data management solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by establishing, tracking, and reporting on program metrics, analyzing deviations to optimize workflows, and implementing technical and process enhancements.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for key partners, providing hands‑on support during the onboarding process and troubleshooting complex technical issues, including reviewing system logs to triage issues.
- Monitor and optimize integration health post‑deployment to ensure long‑term scalability and reliability.
- Lead program reviews, communicate technical insights to non‑technical stakeholders, and present program updates, risks, and impacts to leadership and partner teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, technical account management or a related technical role, such as software development, focused on enterprise software, data integration, or machine learning‑based platforms.
- Proven ability to manage large‑scale, cross‑functional projects, driving alignment across engineering, product, and solutions teams to deliver technically complex solutions.
- Expertise in data integration, APIs, and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), with hands‑on experience integrating large data systems in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis using SQL.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML platforms, particularly in customer engagement or growth contexts, with an ability to identify technical trade‑offs and optimize data‑driven solutions.
- Familiarity with LLM/agent patterns (tool use, retrieval, guardrails, evaluation).
- Ability to write or review prompt specs/runbooks.
- Ability to work in source code repositories to make configuration changes.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with experience presenting technical insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
