Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to patients in the step-down unit
- Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and adjust care plans accordingly
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document care accurately
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and smooth discharge planning

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Ability to interpret ECG rhythms and respond to real-time emergencies
- Capacity to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient setting
- Comfortable providing care in a step-down/inpatient unit environment
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to ancillary staff within the scope of practice
