Director Health Economics & Outcomes
Drive HEOR strategy and guide the insights that influence global market access.
R&D Partners is seeking a Director, Health Economics & Outcomes to join the Evidence Generation Team at a leading health economics and market access consulting firm. This role involves shaping strategy, leading client engagements, and mentoring teams to develop HEOR-HCEI-RWE deliverables, including claims-EHR analyses, economic models, and peer-reviewed publications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, hands-on leader with deep expertise in health economic analyses and a passion for driving healthcare decision-making through evidence generation.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary investigator on client-sponsored research initiatives, translating complex economic analyses into actionable business recommendations.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and consultants, fostering collaboration and skill development.
- Analyze and synthesize clinical, economic, and real-world data to address provider-payer needs.
- Oversee projects to ensure deliverables meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
- Actively participate in new business development and contribute to R&D efforts.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Education: Minimum MS (PhD preferred) in health economics, public health, health services research, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of consulting experience in the biotechnology/life sciences industry, focusing on HEOR, RWE, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Proven expertise in developing HEOR-HCEI deliverables, including statistical/economic analyses (e.g., longitudinal analyses, propensity score matching, multivariable regression, CEAs, BIMs), systematic literature reviews, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong client management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of US payers, payment methodologies, and reimbursement models (e.g., fee-for-service, capitation, bundled payments).
- Familiarity with healthcare data sources, including claims data, risk adjustment, and healthcare cost structures.
- Experience analyzing hospital claims data and medical coding (ICD-10, HCPCS-CPT codes, DRG, etc.).
- Ability to advise clients on regulatory developments and market shifts.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Stata).
Compensation:
- $189 000 - $220 000 Per Annum
