You Are:

• An experienced Electrical Estimator that has specialized in construction or electrical for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a team along with direct client interaction. You love construction and are passionate about the creation of homes that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal.

You Have:

• Extensive knowledge of the electrical industry with a deep understanding of materials, labor costs, and project management. Experience with estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar). A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
• 1300 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070

Your Schedule:

• Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Your Manager:

• Director of Ops

Your Contribution to Regent5:

• Cost Estimation: Analyze plans, specs, and other docs to prepare estimates for electrical projects.
• Project Analysis: Conduct site visits and work with architects, designers, subcontractors and clients to understand project requirements and specs
• Bid Preparation: Develop/issue RFPs to subcontractors and suppliers then analyze bids to ensure competitiveness and alignment
• Scope of Work: Document and create for project proposals
• Budget Management: Monitor budgets and prepare Change Orders as needed
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in project estimating and suggest solutions to mitigate them.
• Collaboration: Work closely with PMs, architects, and clients throughout the project lifecycle to communicate estimates and budget updates.
• Reporting: estimates and cost analysis to management

What Makes You Successful:

• Strong knowledge of electrical (NEC), construction, and cost analysis.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, D Tools or similar).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as D-Tool is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and construction site practices is beneficial.

• $110k to $130k (Based on Experience)
