Materials Planner

Job Description:

Responsible for performing professional tasks related to the determination of future needs of raw material and components required by the company, elaboration, following up and executing the adjustments to the material release according with the production plan and assuring production lines complete the production schedules. Obsolecence follow up and interaction with new products introduction.
Experienced business professional with knowledge of Materials Planning Operations in a Manufacturing environment.

Job requisites:

- 5 or more years of proven experience in Materials Planning.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and formal schooling. Formal accreditation of Business Administration preferable.

- Bilingual English / Spanish fluent

- APQP

- Hands-on experience with Syspro or any other ERP such as SAP.

- APICS certification preferred

- Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software applications

Expectation

Demonstrate logical effective application of businesses processes, problem solving, strategic and tactical planning, technical knowledge and skills.

Takes personal responsibility for decisions, actions and works closely with other functions within the facility to resolve any operational issues tied to Materials Planning.
