Private Outreach Ambassador
Job Description:
Round Pond Estate is a family-owned Napa Valley winery producing acclaimed wines, artisan olive oils, and vinegars. Rooted in hospitality, craftsmanship, and stewardship of the land, we are dedicated to creating world-class experiences that connect people to the essence of Napa Valley.
We’re looking for a warm, engaging, and knowledgeable Private Outreach Ambassador to join our team. In this role, you'll be the primary connection between Round Pond and our most valued guests and members. With exceptional communication skills, warmth, and deep product knowledge, you will cultivate lasting relationships, drive wine sales, and deliver memorable experiences through personalized outreach, as well as virtual and in-home tastings. What You Will Do:Guest Engagement and Sales:
• Build relationships with guests and members through phone, email, and text.
• Provide personalized wine recommendations and curate club shipments.
• Convert leads into sales while meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of contact information, interactions, preferences, and sales activity.
Brand Storytelling and Experiences:
• Coordinate and host virtual and in-home tastings, engaging guests with Round Pond’s story, philosophy, and wines.
• Support seasonal promotions, campaigns, and exclusive member offers.
• Invite guests to visit the winery and greet VIP members onsite.
• Maintains a strong understanding of the winery's products, offerings, and seasonal releases.
Guest Experience:
• Deliver best-in-class service by handling inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism.
• Track shipments, assist with special requests, and ensure every guest feels valued.
• Collect and share customer insights within CRM to improve the member and guest experience.
Collaboration and Reporting:
• Collaborate with the Director of Guest Experience to refine outreach strategies and implement impactful campaigns.
• Provide regular updates on outreach, sales performance, and market trends.
Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Will Bring:
• Must have high school diploma. College degree preferred.
• 2+ years of direct sales or client development experience, ideally in wine, luxury goods, or hospitality.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets through relationship-building and consultative selling.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about wine, food & wine pairing, winemaking, with a willingness to learn.
• Good listener, personable and attentive to guests, member’s needs.
• Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with a wide range of guests and colleagues.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to effectively self-direct as needed & prioritize work and projects.
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving and active listening skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a flexible and proactive approach.
• Acts in a manner that reflects the Company culture.
• High comfort with CRM systems, lead tracking, and outbound outreach.
• Possesses professional appearance and welcoming demeanor.
• Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages a bonus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and occasionally holidays when necessary.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to taste, smell, hear, and talk effectively.
• Frequent lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds.
• Extended periods of sitting, standing and walking on hard surfaces.
• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

The listed pay range represents what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, and alignment with current market data. We reserve the right to modify this range as needed.
