Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for Human Resources commodity management including strategy development, supplier selection, and negotiation of rates.
Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.
Manage claims.
Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc., this may also include purchasing activities.
Expected to participate and or lead Lean process improvement projects using Flight Deck tools.
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.
May guide others to consider a different point of view.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years Indirect Sourcing & Commodity Management experience
NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
Desired Characteristics
7 plus years experience in indirect sourcing.
Human Resources commodity experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
The base pay range for this position is 126,700.00 - 169,100.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 31, 2025
