Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Human Resources commodity management including strategy development, supplier selection, and negotiation of rates.

• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.

• Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.

• Manage claims.

• Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc., this may also include purchasing activities.

• Expected to participate and or lead Lean process improvement projects using Flight Deck tools.

• May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

• Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.

• May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years Indirect Sourcing & Commodity Management experience

NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Desired Characteristics

• 7 plus years experience in indirect sourcing.

• Human Resources commodity experience.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

• Established project management skills.

The base pay range for this position is 126,700.00 - 169,100.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 31, 2025
