International Market Manager
- Serve as the product expert for assigned international markets. Design structure to provide market requirements, regulatory input and customer feedback to inform product development and lifecycle strategies
- Partner with U.S. Product Managers, Regulatory, Quality, and R&D to adapt or prioritize products for specific international regions. Translate feedback and complexity into strategic recommendations to drive growth (strategy)
- Design and develop product launch plans, promotional messaging, and local market adaptation strategies to maximize adoption and commercial success
- Design and lead international pricing strategy with Finance and Sales, factoring in reimbursement and market dynamics
- Monitor product performance and competitive trends across global markets and recommend actions for growth and rationalization
- Develop channel level strategies to drive product sales through Breg services/solutions
- Make decisions with acute focus on driving customer loyalty and growth
- Build and execute customized go-to-market strategies for each region, aligning with regional distribution models, regulatory environments and customer needs
- Conduct and Analyze market research to assess opportunities, risks and channel performance
- Align with global and regional teams to execute product positioning and marketing plans
- May manage Associate Product Managers, Technical Specialists or other supporting roles
- Leadership responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
- Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, International Business, Life Sciences or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of international marketing experience within the medical device, orthopedic or healthcare sectors.
- Sales experience or prior orthopedic industry experience is preferred.
- Athletic trainer certificate, Certified Orthotic Fitter, or other related industry certification or experience is preferred.
- Experience with global product management or downstream marketing of regulated medical products.
- Fluent in English; additional languages preferred but not required.
