Delivery Driver - Fulltime Temporary
Mitchell Lewis & Staver is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering our products and packages to our customers in a timely and safe manner. You will play an important role in our commitment to provide innovative and sustainable water solutions to our customers.
This role will be operating a flatbed (non-CDL) and pickup truck and is responsible for daily deliveries to customer locations and warehouse support for the assigned branch. The position will report to the Branch Manager.
This position is designated as temporary fulltime and is expected to last 1-3 months to provide coverage.
Responsibilities
- Represent Mitchell Lewis & Staver in a friendly, professional manner at all times when communicating with customers
- Safely meet delivery schedules on designated routes
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles
- Maintain fleet vehicles according to maintenance schedules including oil changes, cleaning, and general upkeep
- Assist with Warehouse Operations at the direction of Branch Manager
- Maintain accurate delivery log
- Understand driving regulations of location
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience driving a commercial flatbed truck preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift

- Organization: maintains a clean and orderly work area, informs supervisor of any defective or faulty equipment or material
- Analysis & problem-solving: ability to work independently with little direction
Education Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of previous commercial driving experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for majority of shift
- Ability to move products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing, and pulling
- Valid driver’s license and have a driving record in good standing
Work Environment:
- Operate a delivery truck, including loading and unloading trucks outdoors: indoor work while talking to customers, making deliveries, pulling product and staging for delivery
- Are often exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoors
Benefits
This position is temporary and is not eligible for traditional insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision) but is eligible to contribute to a company sponsored 401k.
