• MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology (ABMS or AOA)
• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain) and DEA registration
• Strong clinical and communication skills with a commitment to team-based care
• Interest or experience in stroke care and program leadership preferred
• Passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse and underserved community

Merced is a growing city of over 90,000 residents with a 190-bed hospital and a University of CA campus, both of which have attracted a large number of physicians to our community. The UC is also planning for the development of a medical school.
