TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Sacramento, California, 95843!

Location: Sacramento, CA

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  3 x 12hr Day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM + required call (one night per week and up to every other weekend)

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity care in a bustling Cath Lab handling diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures
• Assist with advanced cases including TAVR, MitraClip, Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and balloon pump support
• Collaborate with intensivists, techs, and teams in a STEMI tertiary referral center
• Respond to call duties ensuring seamless patient care around the clock
• Document precisely using Cerner and Merge Hemodynamics systems

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Highly preferred scrub experience - tell us about your cases and recent scrubs
• Radiation badge (supplied by agency)
• Pass the DYS exam through UNA prior to contract signing

Education

• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac cath lab procedures and high-acuity patient care
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Merge Hemodynamics
• Scrub role capabilities across various interventional cases
• Strong teamwork with CV techs, rad techs, and support staff
