ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a bold and entrepreneurial Founding Full Stack Engineer to take the lead in building our "Plaud for Teams" product experience from the ground up. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the architecture, systems, and interfaces of our AI-native product experience and agentic AI platforms, with a strong focus on fostering privacy-minded collaboration among humans, and human-with-agents, powered by large language models (LLMs).

You’ll take ownership of delivering full-stack solutions while partnering with global teams spanning product, design, research, hardware, and go-to-market functions. Together, you'll transform ambitious ideas into scalable solutions for consumers and businesses alike.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

You’re an experienced full-stack engineer who thrives in fast-paced, zero-to-one environments. You’ve led small, focused teams and played a hands-on role in taking business products from concept to launch. Your track record shows you can both build and ship with impact.

We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership instincts -- someone who can roll up their sleeves when needed, inspire others to do their best work, and keep the team aligned with broader company goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take full ownership of the technical strategy and execution of our "Plaud for Teams" product roadmap -- driving development from backend to frontend -- while keeping customer needs and company priorities in sync.

• Lead our "for Team" product experience through its entire lifecycle, from early-stage prototyping to launch, with clear milestones guided by Product Led Growth (PLG) principles.

• Design and build secure, scalable, collaboration systems and API integrations that enhance functionality and deliver seamless user experiences -- without compromising on privacy, quality, or trust.

• Explore and apply the latest advancements in AI and LLMs to strengthen the intelligence and adaptability of our platform.

• Translate complex technical vision into clear direction for stakeholders at every level, including executives, teammates, and non-technical partners.

• Help shape the team by recruiting exceptional talent, mentoring engineers, and championing a hands-on culture of innovation, ownership, and execution.

• Collaborate fluidly across time zones and functions -- bridging the U.S. and global teams to move quickly and stay aligned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Hands-on builder: 5+ years of experience in professional software development, ideally in building and scaling productivity tools and enterprise SaaS.

• Our tech stack : Experience with React, Vue, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, or similar technology.

• Frontend skills foundation : Possess development skills for Vue/React, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Canvas API/WebGL/GLSL.

• Infrastructure : Familiar with cloud-based infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Proven track record: Experience envisioning and delivering an effectively zero-to-one product to global customers.

• Passionate about AI: A deep understanding of LLMs, their capabilities, limitations, and potential applications.

• Technical depth: Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of technologies with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and languages.

• Ownership: Ideal candidate will have previously been the first technical lead at an early stage high growth startup, with an emphasis on owning a project from conception to deployment.

• Inspirational vision: Strong leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative approach.

• Structured thinker: Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Academic achievement: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline).

GREAT TO HAVE

• Interested in agentic team collaboration software, SaaS, AI, and LLMs.

• Solid understanding of core application security concepts and threat mitigation strategies.

• Experience with FFmpeg/WebRTC/WebAudio.

• Proficiency in mobile development technologies, including Flutter, Android, iOS, and others.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

• Experience managing or collaborating with international teams.
