Job Summary

We are seeking an Senior Accounting manager to join our team. In this role, they will assist the finance department in their responsibilities while also taking a proactive role in implementing automated systems to streamline and enhance their processes.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry and have played a key role in implementing an ERP or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system in previous roles. They should be highly organized, proficient in Excel, and have a strong background in bookkeeping or accounting.The position is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory transactions, including purchases, transfers, and adjustments.


• Perform cost analysis and variance reporting to support operational efficiency and cost control.


• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.


• Supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, and customer collections.


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.


• Tracking and managing the company's fixed assets, calculating depreciation, and ensuring accurate reporting.


• Overseeing the implementation of the MRP system.


• Assist with preparing and analyzing management reports to help senior management make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a minimum.


• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position along with experience working in a manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).


• Proficient in spreadsheet management with extensive experience using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting software systems.


• Have experience in reconcialing inventory and/or cost accounting.


• Have actively contributed to the successful implementation of an ERP or MPS (Master Production Schedule) at their previous company.


• Famliar with Odoo ERP for manufacturing, quality, maintenance process is a plus.


• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
