Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/DOU (Definitive Observation Unit) setting for patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care between ICU and Med-Surg.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Monitor patients with cardiac, respiratory, or post-ICU conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/DOU experience
- Active California RN License (license in hand)
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Ability to work night shifts
- Strong telemetry and critical care monitoring experience
