Pediatric Dentist

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality dental care tailored specifically for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions affecting pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that ensure children's comfort and promote oral health.
- Educate children and their families on preventive dental care and oral hygiene best practices.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote children's dental health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with professional dental regulations and standards.
- Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry through continuing education.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state license to practice pediatric dentistry.
- Board certification or specialty training in pediatric dentistry is highly preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a dental healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with children and their families.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to dental care.
- Ability to manage and treat dental trauma, caries, and other common pediatric dental issues.
- Commitment to participating in community programs and supporting oral health education.
