Shipping and Receiving Clerk II

PPS is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our semiconductor servicing industry facility in Hayward. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive starting pay rate, second-to-none benefits, and a high ceiling for growth!

Responsibilities:

• Performs visual transactions relative to shipments.·
• Coordinates and assists with loading of shipments.·
• Prepares dispatch logs for drivers with routes, drops and pickups, etc.·
• Maintains communications with drivers during the day and making routing updates as necessary
• Prepares commercial bills of lading.·
• Prepares IBSS paperwork.·
• Ensures packaging specifications are followed per customer requirements.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Knowledgeable with automated system (FEDEX, UPS, DHL)·
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew members.·
• Knowledgeable in packaging and labeling material·
• Follows and understand Shipping Procedures·
• Certified to drive a forklift.·
• Ability to complete work assignment within the time allotted.·
• Maintain and cleans workstation /work environment.·
• Ability to read and understand written procedures.·
• Proficient in MS ExcelEducational/Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years Shipping Experience (preferred- previous exp shipping to Applied Materials)
• Ability to exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move object.
• Ability to Talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required
• May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computer etc.
