Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the overall financial management and accounting operations of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting principles. - Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements.
- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
