What You'll Be Doing :

As the go-to person for weekend staffing, you'll:
  • Manage and post nursing schedules
  • Handle staffing changes, call-offs, and coverage solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and employee files
  • Collaborate closely with our Director of Nursing Services and HR
  • Support new hires and assist with onboarding and orientation
  • Keep things running smoothly and efficiently while keeping morale high

Job Description Summary (Staffing Coordinator - Weekend)

This position is key in ensuring our nursing department is properly staffed and supported on weekends. Responsibilities include maintaining employee contact information, tracking attendance and tardiness, coordinating modified duty assignments, posting and managing schedules, assisting with onboarding and orientation, handling call-offs, and communicating with nursing leadership about scheduling issues. You'll also interact with other departments, participate in relevant committees, verify certifications, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with safety protocols.

The ideal candidate should have at least a high school diploma, strong communication and reasoning skills, a helpful and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a healthcare setting.
