About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Alembic, you'll tackle some of the hardest technical challenges in marketing analytics while building systems that Fortune 100 companies trust for multimillion-dollar decisions. You'll have significant technical autonomy and influence over our platform architecture, working with cutting-edge AI/ML algorithms in a fast-growing environment where your code directly impacts business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services and APIs that power our marketing analytics platform

• Build high-performance data processing pipelines that handle massive datasets with sub-second response times

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for complex analytical workloads

• Collaborate closely with our AI/ML team to productionize cutting-edge algorithms

• Guide technical decision-making and help define Alembic's backend engineering best practices

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a strong technical culture

• Contribute to hiring and shaping the engineering team as we scale
