• Salary: From $17 to $20 per hour
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Location: Garden Grove, CA 92843

Position Summary

The Automotive Porter is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and presentation of vehicles while ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires close collaboration with service and sales teams and direct contact with customers upon vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead self and contribute to team efforts supporting company vision and mission
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before returning vehicles to customers
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages, reporting any issues promptly
• Clean the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
• Maintain an orderly vehicle lot by moving units as directed according to dealership standards
• Pick up vehicles from and deliver them to storage locations
• Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive
• Maintain building and grounds as needed
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when required

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Garden Grove, California. The role involves working outdoors and requires physical activity related to vehicle handling and lot maintenance.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate vehicles safely
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily
• Willingness to comply with company safety standards and policies
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background check, motor vehicle record review, drug test, and credit report
